A shallow stamped steel tray with a rolled edge, for the fasteners that come off a job and need to go back on it. Rolled rather than cut, so there is no sharp edge to catch a hand or a cloth.
It stacks with others of the same size, and the base is flat enough to run a magnet under if you want the contents to stay put. Unglamorous, and the single most used object on most benches.

- 0.8 mm stamped mild steel, clear zinc plated, brushed finish. Rolled safety edge.

- 300 × 200 × 38 mm deep. Stacks at 30 mm pitch.

- Finish & tolerance
- Brushed zinc with a directional grain. Light stamping witness marks in the corners are normal. It will pick up scratches immediately and permanently, which is what it is for.
- Made
- Machined and finished in the United States.
Care
- Wipe dry. Zinc plate is sacrificial and standing solvent will strip it.
- Do not use it as a solvent bath — it is not sealed at the corners.
Cautions
- Not a parts washer. The corner seams are not liquid-tight.
- Not for hot work, welding spatter or anything glowing.
- Not food safe.
